The CaJu Story
After years inside larger teams and bigger brand environments, we wanted to create something more personal and more connected to the work itself. That is why we built CaJu as a small studio. It gives us the freedom to stay hands-on, think carefully, and build real relationships with the businesses we work with.
The name reflects that idea too. Caju is the Brazilian fruit that grows above the cashew nut. The nut is widely known and consumed around the world, but the fruit it grows from tells a fuller story. The caju is vivid, fragrant, and full of character, yet it is often overlooked because it is far more perishable than the nut itself.
That has always meant something to us. It reminds us that real value is not always found in the part that is easiest to package, sell, or scale. We built CaJu to stay close to the full life of a business, not just the most marketable piece of it. CaJu also comes from the first syllables of our names, Casey and Júlia, which made the name feel personal from the start and still keeps it close to our hearts.
